The Hash House Harriers (H3) is a “drinking club with a running problem” — or, more specifically, an international group of noncompetitive running clubs that enjoy socialization and drinking before, during and after their runs. We are one of several hashes in the northeast, and the most recent incarnation of the Groton chapter of the Hash House Harriers. We meet Saturdays at 3:00pm, socialize a bit, and then go running/walking along a trail set by a member (the hare). Our trails wind through the Mystic, Groton, and New London area, involve at least 1 beer check (for those 21 and older), and end with a festive, baudy and welcoming gathering (the circle).
