Meet other local Hash House Harriers, those ("Hounds" and "Hares") who get together to follow a marked trail and enjoy fellowship and beverages at the end! Hashing is for anyone who likes running, walking or hiking and enjoying the cameraderie of like minded individuals. It is important to have a sense of humor. A "hare" sets a trail. The "Hounds" start to chase the Hare 12 minutes after the Hare departs. At the end of the trail we form a circle and sing songs and make fun of each other. Hashers are punished and rewarded by downing a beer or other drink. Check out the world hash website at www.half-mind.com to find out more about the hash and its traditions.
